The facility includes a multipurpose hall, offices, billards room, exercise room, arts & crafts room, and computer room. Hon-Dah Pines Resort-Casino and Convention Center is owned and operated by the White Mountains Apache Tribe. It is located in the eastern AZ pine forest at 7,200 feet, The resort includes a 128-room hotel, a 16,000-SF conference center, a restaurant, casino, swimming pool, spa, and sauna. Because of the shallow water table on the site, it had to be over-excavated and redeveloped using a mixture of cinders, lime, cement, ad soil to create a stable subsurface.

This interior build-out of a former 36,00-SF warehouse included a new, pre-engineered mezzanine that added 8,000 SF to the usable space. The building houses offices, a central call center area, fitness rooms, five conference rooms, and a lunch room. The project contained several interesting design features, including Art Glass windows, rolling wooden barn doors for each office, large ceiling "clouds," and state-of-the-art LED lighting.

Vantage West Credit Union Addition

This addition to the credit union's midtown headquarters is connected to the original building by both a skywalk on the second floor and a tunnel at basement level. Because the new building houses the company's main server and IT facility, it has special cooling and backup electrical features to protect against potential power outages. In addition to the office and work areas, the addition includes an 11,000-SF basement with training facilities, conference rooms, a cafeteria, and breakrooms.

BFL renovated the old Standard Brands Paint building for its own headquarters in the early 2000s. The building included bowstring truss ceiling; the height of the building made it possible to create two stories and retain the beautiful ceiling.

This facility includes a 12,184 SF main building with 1,591 SF of enclosed garage and 1,592 SF of covered patios and other areas. The bilding contains administrative offices, viewing rooms, public restrooms and lounges, while the private portion is occupied by body preparation spaces and a crematorium. The design process included the Chapel staff, the Town of Oro Valley -- with its strict building requirements -- and the Rancho Vistoso HOA, which wanted the building to have a more residential, southwestern style appearance. Native vegetation landscaping helped to blend the site with the surrounding desert.

The Manning House was built in 1907 for former Mayor Levi Manning on about five acres. BFL renovated it to house El Rio's Administration, Accounting, Security, and other departments. The renovation retains historic stained glass, exposed beams, and an atrium. Manning 2 is a three-story building constructed on the property to house El Rio's Triage Call Center, IT Department, Medical Equipment Sterilization, and other departments.
