BFL President Encourages Business Leaders to Attend Local Government Meetings
Check out the Spring 2017 edition of the Tucson Metro Chamber’s magazine, Chamber Edge! The magazine featured an article by BFL Construction President & CEO Garry Brav, “Tucson Business Leaders Must Participate in Local Government,” which stressed the importance of participating in public meetings held by local government entities. In recent years, Brav led a program designed to get local business leaders to attend City of Tucson City Council (COT) and Pima County Board of Supervisors’ (BOS) meetings to represent the interests of the business community. During this program, almost every COT or BOS meeting held was attended by members of the Southern Arizona Leadership Council, the Tucson Metro Chamber, or other civic organizations.
